Some children in the community only have regular meals at school. We pack snack food for children to eat on the weekends and deliver it to Carrollton Elementary Schools. Each week we feed over 100 children.
We have four teams that each serve one week per month. Each team has people who pack backpacks and some who deliver them to CES. It takes less than an hour each week.

Little Free Pantry programs provide access to non-perishable items to those in need without our communities. Anyone can donate items, and anyone can take items when they are in need.
During cool weather, we ask that you bring in heartier meal-type canned items (pull top only, please) - soups, chilis, stews, and pastas. Granola bars, cheese and crackers, and other grab and go items are great too. Personal items - toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, bar soap, shampoo, etc. are also needed.
Please check to be sure all donated itmes are not expired, dented or damanged. And avoid glass items.
Starting in November, we would also like to start placing some warm wear items in the pantry - hats, gloves and socks. If you would like to donate, these should be new and not used.
We typically collect donations for the Little Free Pantry on Communion Sunday — the first Sunday of each month. We store donations in the church and Pantry caretakers ensure our Little Free Pantry stays well stocked throughout the month.
Pantry caretakers volunteer on a monthly basis. We would love for you to signup to be a caretaker for a month. Reach out to Linda Handyside (ljwh25@hotmail.com ) or check Realm for a link to the Signup Genius.
You can bring items for donation on Communion Sunday or anytime you are stopping by the church.

In the winter our congregation comes together to collect warm clothing for our brothers and sisters in need throughout the community. Items are displayed on our fence so that they can be taken freely.
As temperatures start to drop each year we will put out a call for warm clothes. We ask that people bring in gently used or new coats and other warm-wear items.
If you want to get involved, keep an ear out for our call for items as we get closer to the winter seasons.
